Terms of use — Hello Câlin

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of Hello Câlin. The service helps a household gather its documents, calendar, tasks and memories in one place, and turns them into suggestions that parents confirm. Using the service means accepting these terms.

2. Your account

The account is personal and tied to an email address. You sign in through a single-use link sent to that address, or with a password once you have set one. You are responsible for the sessions opened from your account; tell us if you believe it is being used without you.

3. An account and a household are not the same thing

A household is shared between several people: parents, and possibly a helper with reduced rights. Deleting your account does not delete the household nor what the other parents put in it; deleting the household erases its content for everyone. The last administrator of a household must transfer their rights or explicitly ask for the household to be deleted.

4. Free plan, funded by advertising

The free plan is funded by advertising. Ads only appear on the public home page and, if you switch it on, at the bottom of the signed-in home screen. They never appear on the Children, Memories, Documents, Calendar or Settings pages, nor on any other private screen. The consent message is presented by Google’s certified platform; refusing is available at the first level and is respected.

5. Paid Family plan

The Family plan is paid, ad-free, and governed by the terms of sale. Its quotas and price are shown in Settings before any payment.

6. What you undertake to do

You only upload content you are entitled to process, and you do not use the service to infringe anyone’s rights or to disrupt its operation. Children’s data is entered under your responsibility as a holder of parental authority.

7. Availability

The service is provided on a best-efforts basis: we do our best to keep it reachable, with no quantified availability commitment. Interruptions for maintenance, incidents or an external dependency remain possible. An interruption does not release us from keeping your data or from handing it back.

8. Your data

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. You can export all of your household’s data and ask for your account to be deleted from Settings.

9. Ending the relationship

You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted from Settings. Deletion is deferred by thirty days and can be cancelled during that period. We may suspend an account in case of a serious breach of these terms, after telling you, except in a security emergency.

10. Changes

These terms carry a version. Any substantial change results in a new version, announced in the application; the version you accepted is recorded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
